Your student can spend time at Northstar this summer working to reinforce and retain their hard work and accomplishments from the school year in a relaxed, but structured environment. Northstar’s summer session is open to current and newly enrolled Northstar students, as well as the general public.

Summer Session
Each weekly academic session is Monday – Thursday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Summer school weeks are not cumulative and students may register for one to three weeks.
Week 1: July 6 – 9
Week 2: July 13 – 16
Week 3: July 20 – 23
General course offerings include Written Expression, Reading, Math, and Social Skills.
Specialized courses (optional) include Specialized Reading – Decoding, and Specialized Reading – Comprehension. Students in Specialized Reading must demonstrate an academic need (per IEP/IAP) or have a teacher recommendation.
