Northstar does not receive any state or federal assistance — and we must cover the gap between tuition prices and the actual cost to educate each student. From our Lindamood-Bell Reading Program to ongoing technological advancements, we are able to continue providing our students an exceptional, customized education thanks to our donors’ ongoing generosity.  You can help us do even more for the lives and development of our students at Northstar.  We are most grateful for your consideration.

You can help support our students with tools that enhance their learning experience through our Amazon Wish List. Your donation can make a real difference by providing items like sensory fidget strips, bubbles, and activity boards —each selected to meet specific student needs. While pencil holders, career center supplies, and expo markers provide tools in the classroom for success. Every item on the list is chosen to create a more inclusive and supportive environment.

Northstar is an approved organization under the Neighborhood Assistance Act Tax Credit Program for Education (NAP) and the Education Improvement Scholarships Tax Credit Program (EIS). These programs allow businesses and individuals to receive state tax credits of up to 65% of the donation. We receive a limited amount of NAP credits each year and provide them on a first come basis. EIS program credits are offered based on the number of qualifying students receiving scholarships each year.

A gift through a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is the easiest most tax-savvy way to make your charitable gift. Please contact Katie Lewis, Development Operations Manager, to let us know you are recommending a grant to Northstar from your DAF.

Use our secure Online Giving Form to make a donation to Northstar in honor or memory of your friends and family. Your gift will make a lasting impact on our students and faculty.

Did you know that many employers will double, or even triple, the value of your donation with a matching gift? Some companies will even match gifts made by your spouse or family members. Contact your Human Resources Department to learn more about your company’s matching gift policy.

The gift of appreciated securities – stocks, bonds, or mutual funds that have grown in value – can be an easy way of making your charitable dollars go further.
